We offer the EDI Level 2 General Purpose Security Dog Handlers award in association with NASDU which provides the learner with the skill set required as a General Purpose Security Dog Handler.

The course is ideally suited for individuals whom are looking to progress their career working with dogs within the private sector. Over a period of a minimum of 50 guided learning hours (GLH) you will be working towards achieving a full understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a general purpose dog handler, maintaining the health and wellbeing of your dog and the ability to control your dog under operational conditions.

All assignments will be a mixture of theory and practical and you will be encouraged to bring your own suitable breed of dog to work. All practical work will be completed in realistic environments and real life scenarios.
